Fathers' Rights of Western New York recommends the following to get you started and up to speed:

  • Dr. Daniel Amneus' The Garbage Generation. Dr. Amneus is the "patron saint" of the Fathers' Rights Movement. He is also an honorary member of the Fathers' Rights Association of Western New York and receives our monthly and fax newsletters on a regular basis.

  • Dr. Amneus' new book, The Case for Father Custody, knocks feminism out cold!!!
  • Dr. Robert Fay's The Disenfranchised Father appeared in the American Journal of Family Law in 1995. Dr. Fay is a pediatrician in Schenectady, NY and successfully sued, in federal court, for the right to review his children's school records at will. He is a member of the Fathers' Rights Association and is active in our state organization. Dr. Fay received our Volunteer of the Year Award in 1996.

The Fathers' Rights Association of Western New York is a private, not for profit organization composed of men and women volunteers. The organization provides counseling, education and a support system for parents and family members, primarily non-custodial parents, who have been affected by family structure breakdowns. Membership dues are $25.00 per year. Checks should be made payable to:
